This one-on-one class is designed to provide REINFORCEMENT and build confidence of your learner's math skills. In this ongoing class, the learner will meet once a week, one-on-one, with a certified elementary school teacher to practice and reinforce math skills that are aligned to the student's grade level. Content will be a spiral review of major math concepts covered in the learner's academic grade level. This class is structured to be interactive and hands-on through the use of manipulatives and teacher-learner discussions.

Math topics to be covered include (*topics will spiral; ONE skill covered per week):

*Grade Level Kindergarten (5-6 years old)
**ONE skill covered per week**
- name shapes
- counting and one-to-one correspondence
- addition within 20
- subtraction within 10

*Grade Level 1st Grade (6-7 years old)
**ONE skill covered per week**
- addition within 100
- subtraction within 20
- telling time (to the half hour and hour)
- United States money (pennies and dimes)

*Grade Level 2nd Grade (7-8 years old)
**ONE skill covered per week**
- addition within 120
- subtraction within 100
- telling time (to five minutes)
- United States money (nickels and quarters)

*Grade Level 3rd Grade (8-9 years old)
**ONE skill covered per week**
- multiplication within 100
- division within 100
- perimeter of a square and rectangle
- area of a square and rectangle
- fractions (1/2, 1/4, 1/3, 1/6, 1/8)
