Learners should be familiar with a few basic Zoom features to be successful in this course, including how to unmute*.
*I do not mute learners unless there is background noise that is distracting to other learners. I will give an initial warning before having to mute any learners, but if the background noise continues I will have to mute a learner, they may unmute themselves when they would like to speak and then mute themselves again after sharing what they want to say.

This is an ongoing class. Outschool charges your credit card every Sunday. If you would like to cancel your subscription, you will need to do so before Sunday so that you will not be charged for the following week.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I grew up on a large livestock farm, and was actively involved in caring for sheep, cattle, goats, horses, chickens, dogs, cats, and even ostriches! For 10 years, I was active in 4-H, raising and showing sheep, cattle, and goats at the county, district, and state levels. As an active 4-Her, I also participated in Livestock Judging, Stockman’s Contests, and Cattle Working Competitions. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Animal and Poultry Sciences, and my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education. My passions are teaching children and sharing my love and expertise of animals with everyone!
I am a certified teacher with over 5 years of experience teaching 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade in public schools. I also have a year of experience teaching Kindergarten Readiness to preschool students.
