Class Experience
US Grade Kindergarten - 3
In this ongoing class, the learner will meet once a week, one-on-one, with a certified elementary school teacher to learn and practice math skills that are aligned to the student's individual math needs. Content will be based on discussions between the parent and teacher to determine what math skills the student needs to work on. This class is structured to be interactive and hands-on through the use of manipulatives and teacher-learner discussions. Math topics that can be covered include: - addition - subtraction - multiplication - division - perimeter - area - fractions - telling time Please contact the teacher to discuss your learner's math support needs prior to class. **If the listed times do not meet your scheduling needs, please contact the teacher to set up a schedule that works for your learner.

Supply List
-small white board and dry erase markers OR pencil and paper -small objects, about 50 pieces (dried beans or noodles, blocks, coins, etc.) to use for manipulating and counting

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Teacher expertise and credentials
I am a certified teacher and have taught 1st, 3rd, and 5th grades for the past seven years. I have my Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I also have a year of experience teaching Kindergarten Readiness to preschool students.
