Good editing takes time. Our one-time class serves as a starting point to equip you with the tools to refine a final draft effectively. At times, it can be challenging to identify where our writing lacks flow. As writers, we often understand our intended message and making it sound just right may only a comma away. Join us for an editing introduction! Together, we'll review writing samples and collaborate as a group to pinpoint necessary changes for better flow. Feel free to bring in your own writing samples (maximum of 2 paragraphs) for us to work on together! These skills support the BC Ministry of Education's Core Competencies English Language Arts for Grades 3-10.
Learning Goals
Learners will work together to identify sentence structure and flow issues.
