Introduction to Paragraph Writing/ESL Writing/Master Writing a Paragraph

In this course, your child will explore the fundamentals of writing, focusing on what makes a paragraph strong and how to structure it effectively.

I will start by teaching clear and concise sentence writing to lay a solid foundation. Then, we'll dive into the core elements of a paragraph, such as creating a captivating topic sentence, adding supporting details, and wrapping it up with a satisfying conclusion.

Students will practice paragraph writing through engaging activities. They will organize paragraph, build paragraphs, and write their own paragraphs. As students become more confident in their skills throughout the weeks, they will learn how to add more detail to their paragraphs and learn how to add sensory language.

Each week your child will get plenty of practice to build their skills and confidence.

This is an ongoing class but students are welcomed to join at anytime. Concepts are reviewed each week and at times some students may be working on different things therefore may be put in a breakout room for individual attention. If you think your child needs support with sentence writing please check out some of my other classes. If your child is successful with this class they are encouraged to take the next class of paragraph writing: "Mastering Paragraph Writing". This class will be canceled and you will be refunded if the 2 student minimum is not met. All other cancellation and refund policies are based on Outschool guidelines.
