We will be covering multiple aspects of drawing including shading, proportion, observation, artistic composition and more. I have a 4 year degree in Visual Arts, and have been teaching private art lessons to children and adults for over 8 years.
Students should have several sheets of paper for drawing for each class. Additionally they should each have at least one drawing pencil, a pencil sharpener and one eraser. For those who would like to purchase multiple pencils for their child, pencils are available in a variety of shades from dark to light and can be found in most art supply stores. In this case, it is recommended to have at least one medium darkness pencil and one extra dark pencil.
