This will be a fun class where students can be creative and expressive while making a drawing to celebrate the winter season. The class will have guided instructions on how to create a basic landscape composition and then students will have optional images that they can integrate into their drawing such as snowmen, snowy trees, and a cozy cabin. Students will be welcome to experiment with a variety of mediums, whichever they have available, including colored pencils, watercolors, and markers. (No religious or holiday imagery will be suggested, only winter based outdoor imagery.)

Supply List
Students should have at least two pieces of paper available, one for any warm up or sketching and the second one for our final composition. If the student is using watercolors, heavy body paper is best to prevent ripping. Students can use the colored media of their choice such as markers, colored pencils, watercolors, or crayons.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
