I have a BA in Visual Arts from SUNY New Paltz and have also privately studied with multiple master level mentors and artists.
Homework Offered
For weeks 5-8 students will be asked to work on their projects outside of class at least 1 hour each week.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

Students should have a sketch-book that can be dedicated to this course and our studies. Basic drawing pencils and eraser. As the course progresses, students will be encouraged to work with color in the medium of their choice such as colored pencils, pastels, watercolors, or acrylic paints.
We will refer to artistic composition and themes of several different established master painters and artists.
