US Grade 2 - 4
This class is devoted to learning about eagles, their behaviors, and more... through discussion, a story, a craft, and a short video. Children will learn some facts about the the majestic eagles, have some laughs, and be able to express themselves artistically! Class will begin with introductions and we will then move on to some discussion, including the eagle's scientific name. Then, we will watch a video and have more discussion. Next, we’ll have reading time and lastly, have fun making a craft. *We will also attempt to visit an eagle's nest virtually... however, there is no guarantee that the eagles will be present during class. For class we will be doing a craft that involves a paper plate, scissor, and crayons or markers. I will also be supplying a coloring page for kids to have fun with after the class! As this class is about eagles, if children have a stuffed eagle or a toy eagle, they can bring them to class! It also should be noted... during class we will learn and see, how eagles prey on other animals. *If a child has taken my Responsibility class... some of the eagle information is repeated... any questions, please ask.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have taught this class to different groups at a cooperative, for both lower and upper elementary students. I enjoy teaching a subject or principle and including different areas of study along with the original idea. I have trained in a non credited format, for many years, with an author and speaker who specializes in teaching children character.
I am a homeschool mom that has taught American History, Biology, and Life Skills for 3 years in a cooperative setting. I have also tutored 3rd-5th graders in Math, Science, and History through an after school program. Though I have a biology background academically, I enjoy many subjects and having fun!
