This interactive class will introduce students to 2-3 new sight words a week. We will read stories with these sight words that your child can access at home to allow for additional practice. We will practice writing, reading, and making short vowel words. During these lessons, your child will have an opportunity to read, write, and learn beginning reading strategies. We will be using Raz-Plus for our books, which you will have access to at home. I have over 20 years of experience teaching new and struggling readers. Students should be familiar with letters and letter sounds and show signs of an emergent reader (interest in books, writing, and reading).
