Teacher expertise and credentials
As I was growing up, I realized I had the same last name as a long passed English monarch. This sparked my interest in ancestry and English history. The Middle Ages and the Renaissance have always been my favorite. Maybe it was the clothing or the amazing architecture, but what ever it was I spent many years obsessed until I was old enough to travel to the British Isles to visit all the amazing castles, cathedrals and historical sites. When I taught in a brick and mortar school, I was very luck to spend 13 summers teaching about Middle Ages and Renaissance to elementary ages students during summer school. Additionally, I have taught classes on the Middle Ages and Renaissance to homeschool students in a local co op.
