Class Experience
Intermediate Level
These are "ongoing" classes, and learners are welcome to join at any time! This book club will focus on learning various literary skills as they apply to the Harry Potter series. Not all skills will be focused upon during each lesson; however, characterization, plot structure and setting relevance will always be discussed. Since each class is designed to reflect three chapters in the Harry Potter books, learners will not "lose" instruction if they join "late" or leave "early." Each lesson...
- Learners will increase their ability to communicate with others as well as their ability to read critically. In addition, important literacy skills and critical reading will be developed throughout these classes.
I have a master's degree with an emphasis in reading.
All learners are welcome to enjoy this class! As a special education teacher, I understand neuro-diversity and strive to support everyone who chooses to join us! Each class will be designed as needed for unique learning challenges in mind
