What's included

128 live meetings
96 in-class hours
Homework
1 hour per week. Students will occasionally be assigned homework throughout the week. All homework is optional and completion is 100% at the parent/guardian's discretion. If parents/guardians would prefer their learner complete homework each week, I will be more than happy to check it for correctness. Conversely, if parents/guardians would prefer their learner not have required homework, that is fine also. All homework materials will be posted in the classroom each week.
Assessment
Students will be informally assessed daily as we progress through the curriculum. We will also be completing small spelling/phonics/math quizzes throughout the year.
Certificate of Completion
Students will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of the course.
Grading
Grades will be provided by parent/guardian request only. Grades are required for this level. All learners will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the school year.

- learn/review colors & shapes
- learn all kindergarten language arts skills
- learn all kindergarten social studies content
- learn all kindergarten science content

All learning will take place in a warm, silly, laid-back, inclusive, and fun environment.

🐶 Our class mascot, Pip the Pup, will join us every day to share some awesome stories with us that align with the class content. 🐶

I will be using a few different resources to ensure that all of my students' learning styles are addressed. These resources include:
→ Short video clips
→ Songs with Movements
→ Full-screen, Super Engaging Presentations
→ Graphics, Learning Activities, & Games
→ Super Fun Decodable Books
→ HUGE Weekly Printable Packets (These are optional, but an incredibly great supplement)

This will include a word-mapping mat, a handwriting mat, a consonants sound wall and vowel sound wall, an alphabet reference guide, and letter writing formations charts. They will also have a few pages to print weekly which will come in the weekly packet.
→ Dry Erase Markers
→ Pencil

→ Small Dry Erase Board & Markers- Students will use their dry erase boards daily in class.
→ Small BINGO chips, coins, or any small items to use when mapping words.
→ 1-Subject Notebook or Binder with Loose-Leaf Paper- Students will be keeping an interactive notebook with lots of materials from our lessons. We will add to our notebooks each week.
→ A "Tens Frame" Pop-It. (They do not need to have the numbers on them) We will use these for math time and also for mapping words. Here is a link to the ones I have → https://a.co/d/9mZdfHI
→ OPTIONAL BONUS: Printable Packets - Each lesson will include HUGE printable packets for all material covered in that lesson. You are welcome to print these pages for your learner to do at home, but it is not required. If you do not have access to a printer, it's no problem at all. We will cover the same materials on the screen during class and most things can be done on their dry erase boards. [Side-note: If your learner has taken any of my preschool classes, you may have printed some of these materials before. Do not feel obligated to print the entire packet!] These packets will be posted in the classroom on Sundays for the coming week.
→ If students are completing the optional printable packets, they will need glue sticks, crayons and child scissors for some of the activities.

They will be asked to enter their first name so that I can track all feedback from students during the lesson. No other information is requested or required.
