I have spent the majority of my life living on a farm tending to animals. I have also spent the last 10+ years teaching reading in the high school, elementary school, and homeschool setting. I have a passion for reading, a passion for teaching, and a passion for animals! I love to share my excitement and enthusiasm with my students!
All materials for this course will be provided by the instructor.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
We will be using a third-party tool entitled LUMIO for our lessons. I will be sharing a link to the lesson so that the students and I can go through the material together. This will be for slides of the stories, group discussion questions, and games relating to the material. All activities on LUMIO may only accessed during our live class as the link becomes inactive when I end the lesson. Students will not need an account of any kind to view our content on LUMIO. They will be asked to enter their first name so that I can track all feedback from students during the lesson. No other information is requested or required.
