Students will "bring" a song on video with lyrics that they and their classmates can listen and watch. (Message Teacher Liz with the link before the class starts.) The teacher will explain and show the rating system and how to focus on fluency and comprehension. Students will take turns singing and classmates will give them scores. Difficulty of the song and lyrics will be considered when scored. Teacher will announce winners in the different categories and overall winner at the end.
Learning Goals
Students will practice reading, pronunciation, and understanding the lyrics enough to be able to show their meaning through pops and acting. This is a good class for ESL students, also.Other Details
Parental Guidance
Parents, make sure your child chooses a song with school-appropriate language. Swears and graphic lyrics are not encouraged.
Supply List
The teacher will share a table that will be used for scoring.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
