In this one-time class the students will learn about the artist Kandinsky. The students will show paintings that this artist made. The students will be encouraged to come up with the names of the paintings. The students will learn about abstract art by focusing on colours and shapes. The students will listen to the book "The Noisy Paint Box: The Colours and Sounds of Kandinsky's Abstract Art by Barb Rosenstock (used with permission.)I will do the art apple project with the students. The students will get the template 24 hours before class. the student will draw a different-sized circle from smallest to biggest or biggest to smallest in an apple with oil pastels and watercolour paints. based on the squares with concentric squares. The students can show their class art project at the end of the class.

I have my Diploma of College Studies in Early Childhood Education degree from Vanier College in Montreal . I am a certified educator in Early Childhood Education with students aged 3 -5 years old. I have a certification in the highly successful Handwriting Without Tears and Lively Letters.
I am a proud and passionate Preschool educator. I have a natural love of teaching and bring patience and enthusiasm to the classroom. I have a great pleasure in helping students reach their developmental milestones.
My philosophy is that students' interests matter and they learn best when they have an effective relationship with their educator. I believe that students learn and strive at their own pace. I make learning fun and stimulating while focusing on the development milestones. I attempt to make learning play based , hands -on experience and child led . I have a great enjoyment to make classes play based, hands- on experience , child - led and engaging for each student . The students will build self- confidence and a sense of self- esteem in my classes. I do ensure a successful and smooth transition to Kindergarten.
In my spare time I enjoy traveling , reading, baking and spending quality time with my friends and family.
