Class Experience

Students will increase their public speaking confidence and learn about giving the many different types of speeches they may encounter in school and beyond.
There will be homework assigned, if not completed during class-time, between classes 3 and 4 while students prepare their speeches for presentation the following week. Other than that, all work will be done during class!
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
The learners are assessed and given some oral or written feedback through the course.
1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
We will encourage the use of google docs for speech-writing and revisions. Students having a google account or access to an account is required to use that platform. However, students who are unable to utilize the google suite will also be accommodated with purely oral revisions and suggestions to improve their speeches. To get the most out of the class, we do recommend use of google docs.
