Public speaking can be terrifying! These one-on-one coaching sessions are designed to help students become more confident speakers in any environment. In each class, students will practice for upcoming presentations, speeches, or interviews. During our first session, we will discuss the student's goals, upcoming projects, and comfort-level with public speaking. Students will - Learn to convey confidence and competence when speaking - Practice and build public/group/one-on-one speaking skills - Understand how body language and tone impact communications - Identify filler words that can be distracting - Discuss the fear of public speaking - Learn to self-assess and create plans for improvement

Students may be asked to practice their skills or continue working on their presentations between sessions.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
