Beginner Level
Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and behavior. In this class, we will cover a wide variety of topics at an accelerated pace. This class is perfect for a quick overview of the field of psychology. Please see my syllabus for the topics in each lesson. The lessons will involve lectures, review games, and discussion. Here are my class expectations. - Once learners check in with their video camera, they may leave their camera on or off. I encourage learners to do whatever makes them feel the most comfortable. - There are lots of different ways to participate in my classes. Learners may raise their hand to speak, types in the chat box, or listen/observe.

over 1 WeekLesson 1:
Psychology Boot Camp (lesson 1)
We will begin with a brief introduction and overview of class. We will cover the following topics: biology & psychology, consciousness, sensation & perception, thinking, intelligence. I will explain each theory and discuss scientific research from peer-reviewed journals. There will be time to ask questions & reflect after each theory. At the end of class, we will end with a review game on Nearpod.

Psychology Boot Camp (lesson 2)
We will begin our class with a brief review from last class. Then, we will cover the following topics: memory, learning, development, emotions, stress. We will end class with a review game on Nearpod.
