I have a PhD in psychology from the University of Arizona. I've taught college classes for over ten years.
We will have a quiz and critical thinking assignment due each week. There will be two papers and a final exam.
I will provide written feedback and a letter grade for the class.
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
This class focuses on criminal behavior. I will focus on the psychology behind why people commit crimes, but I will not focus on specific details of the crimes. For example, we will discuss factual details about the cases, but I will not show graphic details of the crime. My focus is on the psychological research on what makes a person commit a specific crime.
All of my source come from scientific research journals, such as the Journal of Forensic Sciences (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/journal/15564029).
