Class Experience
This class is available for students who would like one-to-one time for Psychology (Middle-High School level and beyond). This may be to supplement a particular class or prepare for a specific exam, or it may be to allow a less restrictive approach to exploring the student's interests. I have experience of teaching Psychology seminars and lab classes at university level, and currently tutor at the Open University. I have been working as an online tutor since February 2018, predominantly providing support for GCSE (UK age 14-16) Psychology, Maths, and Sciences; and A-level (UK age 16-18) Psychology, and run several related classes on Outschool. Specific courses which I currently tutor for: - A-level Psychology (including AQA, Edexcel, and OCR syllabi) - AP Psychology I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology as well as a PhD focusing on visual perception and cognitive neuroscience. I have also completed online courses on Philosophy of Cognitive Sciences, and Neurobiology of Everyday Life.
Grading
Frequency: includedDetails: No scores/letter grades, but a certificate of participation/completion is available upon request for learners who complete at least 8 sessions.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Tutoring sessions are most productive when the tutor has as much information as possible about the student's requirements and aims. Please take a moment to communicate these, at least 24 hours before your first session where possible.
