Beginner - Advanced Level
This is a 1:1 class to provide more interaction between the teacher and the student. This can and will cover all introductory psychology topics including the five major psychological theories. As psychology is the study of how the human brain works, this interactive class is intended to encourage the student to think deeply about these topics and to share their perspectives. Some of the topics that we may discuss in this class include: - The five major approaches within psychology - biological - psychodynamic - behavioral - cognitive - humanistic - Nature vs. nurture - Famous psychological experiments, including the Stanford Prison experiment and the Milgram experiment. - Positive vs negative reinforcement - How to research and understand psychological experiments - Famous psychological theories, including Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs and Sigmund Freud's Psychoanalytic theory.
