The instructor will go over the parts of the instrument & the names of the different parts. The teacher will demonstrate the proper way to hold the trumpet and each student will practice getting into the correct playing position multiple times. Instructor will lead students in proper breathing technique, and in attempting some first sounds on the instrument!
