Assignments
2-4 hours per week. I will set goals so that my students know what to practice and prepare for the next week.Assessment
includedClass Experience
My goal is to help your student learn the trumpet and make it a fun experience for them. I will prioritize my students goals and help them with what they are working on in school. I will also give the students extra goals for our weekly lessons and provide more opportunities if they are interested. Some example topics and themes we will cover are, sound production, articulation, buzzing on the mouthpiece and how to breathe properly. These are some of the most important things for beginners to learn when they first start playing the trumpet. Every person is different and will need different feedback, I will evaluate my students and come up with a plan specifically for them on how to improve
Learning Goals
Start with learning good habits. When students begin learning the trumpet it is very important for them to develop good habits, if they develop bad habits it may not be noticeable at first but after a few years it will become harder for them to improve
The students goals are my priority. Whether its a school chair test, scales, etudes, or solo competition let me know so that I can help create a plan to make them succeed.
