Beginner Level
In this class, students will be introduced to video editing using the easy and free Apple Clips app. This class is geared towards students who have never used Clips before or who would like to improve their skills and learn new tricks. Students will learn about the different features in the app while following the teacher directions (given through video tutorials) as they develop a short video that includes a title poster, video clips with filters and captions, photos with words/animated stickers, and music. This app is easy to learn and students will enjoy being able to create videos with cool effects that will make them look like a pro! Please note that the videos for this class will be demonstrated on an iPad. If the student is using an iPhone the interface will look slightly different. For this class, your student will need: *An iPad or iPhone with the most recent free Apple Clips app downloaded in advance: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/clips/id1212699939#?platform=ipad *A separate computer or screen (not the iPad they are using for their video) to watch the lesson. *An internet connection while working to download the free posters, stickers, and music that are included in the app. I have used Apple Clips to create videos for many years and use it frequently to make informative and fun videos for lessons and for myself. I have also worked with many students teaching them how to use this powerful, creative, and fun video editing app. I would love to share what I have learned with new students so they can produce their own movies.
