Class Experience
In each ongoing, weekly, 25 minute class, we will go through 1 or 2 special video editing effects that you can use towards your videos that you are creating. Students will get the opportunity to request specific things to learn in the class and will also be able to share previous video editing work that has been preapproved by the teacher. Learners are encouraged to have Wondershare Filmora downloaded to their computer before class begins. Please note, if you choose to download this software, I encourage families to click the button that says "free download". This program is free to use, but it will have the brand watermark on the video. I do not encourage families to purchase any software in order to attend an editing class of mine. Feel free to continue to use the free version of this program, even throughout the course, until you are ready to purchase and annual subscription.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
If your learner is interested in using this class to learn to edit videos for a YouTube channel, please know, YouTube is intended for age 13 and older, however, students younger than 13 are able to create a YouTube channel under a parent's Gmail account and under the supervision of a parent.
