Beginner Level
I will teach the group up to two or three simple balloon creations over an hour. We will cover types of twists, recommended balloon supplies, balloon safety, and what to do when a balloon pops, what to do when you mess up. The first part of the class will be instruction and we will end by showing our creations and balloon art to each other. The teacher will pick the balloon creation to demonstrate and this will rotate from class to class so students can learn new balloon creations over time. Reach out to this teacher for private lessons or to enroll in a different section if the time does not fit your schedule.
Learning Goals
Learn to make 1 or 2 balloon animals or creations. Experiment with drawing different faces on the balloon animal. Be able to verbalize the steps for making a balloon animal. Know technique for blowing up balloons and tying off balloons.

Parental Guidance
Balloon scraps are a choking hazard to pets and babies. Encourage your child to clean up after themselves and to not put balloons in their mouths. Small kid scissors are a safety tool and should be near by at all times. Balloon swords may be covered as they are a kid favorite. Balloon jousting with a friend is encouraged. Play with balloons inside only with parental permission as you may knock items over while creating your art or jousting with a friend. Only play joust with permission of the friend.

No previous balloon twisting experience needed
Supply List
No materials are necessary to watch, however if you want to participate in creating the art. I recommend 15 260s balloon twisting balloons Fine permanent markers (Sharpie type different colors-at least black 1 double action balloon pump 1 pair of scissors 3 or 4 small round balloons (6 inch heart balloons or small round balloons)
