This is 1:1 tutoring for any speaker who wishes to practice English speaking skills. You pick the topic and we will talk about it and practice what you are already learning at home or in school. I teach all levels of English. This class is live instruction. My style is to focus on vocabulary building and proper pronunciation. Tutoring is tailored to reviewing words and sounds that the student is practicing at home. I like to sing and play games when we learn together. The first few minutes of class the student or parent will provide me with a topic for discussion. Then, we will review or talk about that topic for the remainder of the class. Emphasis will be on conversation and getting by in a conversation even if we make mistakes. Helping students keep going is what I excel at even if they make a mistake. Also, learning the art of getting your point across even if you don't use proper grammar. That is ok too! Being comfortable talking to others means learning slang words and being ok with gesturing to make your point. We will use the whiteboard to review proper spelling and to play vocabulary games on the whiteboard if desired by the student and if time.
