In the Dark: Learn About Nocturnal Mammals, Create a Coordinating Craft FLEX

Students will not meet live but there will be plenty of opportunity for interaction. Each week the teacher will share a slideshow presentation video on a different nocturnal animal. There will be a fine motor skills coordinating craft each week presented by the teacher via video. Students should post photos of their completed crafts in the classroom for teacher and other students to view and comment. Teacher will demonstrate the craft step by step and children can follow along. There will be a weekly Nearpod lesson where students can draw a picture and see other students' pictures as well. There will be a weekly Kahoot quiz that students can coordinate to take together or take on their own. There will be printable activity sheets and an End of Week Printable. The video lesson, craft video, printable activity sheets and Nearpod lesson will all be posted each Monday 8 a.m. EST. The Kahoot quiz and End of Week Notes will be posted each Friday 8 a.m. EST. 
The classroom is a place for comments, questions, and discussion. Students should post in the classroom for the teacher and other students to respond.
Class schedule is as follows:

Week One: 
Raccoon
Students will learn about raccoons via a video lesson and interactive Nearpod Lesson. There will be a Kahoot quiz on Friday and printable activity sheets. Students will engage their fine motor skills with a raccoon craft. Photos of the craft should be posted to the classroom for teacher and other students to view. 

Week Two:
Skunk
Students will learn about skunks via a video lesson and interactive Nearpod Lesson. There will be a Kahoot quiz on Friday and printable activity sheets. Students will engage their fine motor skills with a skunk craft. Photos of the craft should be posted to the classroom for teacher and other students to view. 

Week Three:
Opossum
Students will learn about opossums via a video lesson and interactive Nearpod Lesson. There will be a Kahoot quiz on Friday and printable activity sheets. Students will engage their fine motor skills with an opossum craft. Photos of the craft should be posted to the classroom for teacher and other students to view. 

Week Four:
Bat
Students will learn about bats via a video lesson and interactive Nearpod Lesson. There will be a Kahoot quiz on Friday and printable activity sheets. Students will engage their fine motor skills with a bat craft. Photos of the craft should be posted to the classroom for teacher and other students to view.
