👋 👋 Welcome to my classroom! 👋👋 🗂️This is a self-paced course, meaning there will be NO live meetings. Instead, you will work through the course at your own pace, and we will interact via the Outschool classroom & messenger. Hello! 👋 I'm so glad you found my class! I could not be any happier that you are here. I'm Ms. Lindsay, and I love to write and share my love of writing with others. I am so excited to start working with you, and I hope you are, too! In this weekly writing workshop course, you can work on your writing skills in a fun and laid-back environment. You should plan to set aside about one hour per week to complete all parts of each lesson. Learners will view and reply to posts, submit writing for review, and communicate with the teacher via the Outschool classroom. Weekly Tasks: 📚 Welcome to the week 📚 Review weekly writing prompts 📚 Watch the weekly video lesson & post any questions for the teacher 📚 Work on your story (from brainstorming to publishing, work on your writing for the assigned period of time) 📚 Optional: submit your writing via the classroom for teacher comments and feedback *Students should be prepared to spend approximately 20-30 minutes writing each week. Every student differs in how many stories they will complete by the end of the 10 weeks. Some students prefer to work on shorter stories, and others may prefer to work on writing longer stories or even "chapter" books for class.
