This class is taught in English.

Each week, students participate in a mini-lesson designed to teach them different strategies and techniques that will sharpen their writing skills. Learners will have the opportunity to apply what they have learned by writing independently in response to various prompts. This way, students learn and immediately apply different writing principles, piece by piece, as they develop their writing skills. Students will also develop and improve their public speaking skills as they share their work with the class. 

I have nearly a decade of teaching experience in various settings. I've taught in the brick-and-mortar setting as well as online. Writing is a topic that I am personally passionate about.  

My degrees/certifications are: 
• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education
• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education

Homework Offered
There is no assigned homework for this class.  However, students are encouraged to work on their stories outside of class as time allows.  
0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Learners are encouraged to send Ms. Lindsay their writing after class for additional feedback and help with editing and revising.
