Class Experience

In this course students will learn how to read music and how/where to write notes on the different clefs. Topics we will discuss are: the treble and bass clefs; the different kinds of notes; key signatures; time signatures; how/where to write in notes; how/where to write chords (notes that are played at the same time). Students will be given some songs that we will go over and analyze which notes the various songs contain.

This course will help students in the future if they decide to play and instrument. Or, if they are currently playing or beginning and instrument, it will help them to be able to be able to play written songs faster.
