Description
Class Experience
This is a continuation of my Beginning Piano series. Students will learn how to play a song(s) of their choice (Private Lessons). Group Classes - I ask for song suggestions that students would like to learn. For this class, it will be helpful if a student has a piano or keyboard, as well as a camera/phone that is angled towards the piano keys, so that I am able to see the students fingers playing on the piano/keyboard.
I have over 17 years experience teaching private lessons in Piano; Voice; Songwriting and Intensive Ear Training Studies for Vocalists and Musicians. I have been involved in the music industry performing, composing, producing, and arranging. From years of experience working with industry professionals, I have learned how to bring aspects of this knowledge in to the lessons that I teach, for a higher level of learning for students. My credits include over 15 albums I’ve produced and recorded, one release debuted at #2 on the NAR Radio Charts and was in the Top 10 for 3 months, I’ve performed in and produced a show at Carnegie Hall, worked with top producers at the Jim Henson Studio in California, and have had music placed on several segments that were aired on channels such as; The History Channel, The Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel, Fitness Channel, WE Network.
I will provide a PDF of everything that is gone over in the class, so that students will be able to practice what we have gone over during the lesson. Also, I will provide a PDF of the sheet music for "Ode to Joy".
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
