Class Experience

US Grade 6 - 9
This is an eight week course designed to teach Music Theory for the beginner. The topics I will cover are note names and placement, major/minor intervals, major/minor scales, and how chords are built. This class is designed to give a complete foundation to the study of music theory. Students do not need to be musicians to be able to take this course. This course works for any student no matter how involved in music they are. I teach lecture style with class participation in live weekly classes. Throughout the class learning material will be proivided to help reinforce the covered topics and for the students to practice on their own. The material can be dowloaded and printed for convenience. Some classes may have an added slide show or presentation to better convey topics that may be a little confusing.
