The course is open to students of all levels, from elementary to middle school to college, who want to improve their understanding of historical events and their ability to write clear and effective DBQs. Each tutoring session will focus on a specific topic, based on the needs and interests of the learner. I am highly qualified in the US to teach history at the elementary and middle to high school levels. I have a teaching degree with 15 years of public school classroom experience and two Master's degrees in education. I was the lead history teacher at my school and have prepared district history curriculum guides. I have also presented at history conferences at the state level. I am a trainer of Thinking Maps, which are graphic organizers for academic studies.
The student should bring any relevant textbooks, class notes, and assignments to each tutoring session. The tutor may also provide additional materials, such as primary sources, sample DBQs, or study guides.
