Class Experience

US Grade 5 - 8
Beginner - Advanced Level
The course is open to students of all levels, from elementary to middle school to college, who want to improve their understanding of historical events and their ability to write clear and effective DBQs.

Each tutoring session will focus on a specific topic, based on the needs and interests of the learner.

Possible topics include:

American History: From the colonial era to the present day, including topics such as the American Revolution, the Civil War, World War II, and the Civil Rights Movement.

World History: From ancient civilizations to modern times, including topics such as the rise of empires, the Industrial Revolution, World War I, and the Cold War.

DBQ Writing: Strategies for analyzing historical documents, developing strong thesis statements, and crafting effective essays that demonstrate historical understanding.

Lessons vary based on what your learner needs.

Class time can be a review of key events or people, an online game review and discussion, analyzing primary sources, or organizing notes and projects for a class.
