Hip Hop, You "Gotta Catch Them All" Themed Dance Class
In this one-time beginner hip hop class we will warm-up and stretch our bodies. Students will learn hip hop choreography and have time to socialize throughout class! We will create our own character at the end of class! Get ready for some fun!

During this one-time class we will start off with a warm-up and we will stretch our bodies. We will also do some cardio and learn some hip-hop moves for about 7-10 minutes. We will then learn choreography to an upbeat dance routine for approximately 30-35 minutes. All music is upbeat and fun and age appropriate! During class we will also have a couple breaks that include time to socialize and create or color our own character. Students will have plenty of time to grab some water if needed throughout class! All songs played will be geared towards our theme. Get ready for some fun! *Duration of warm-up, choreography, game may vary do to student participation. Length of routine may vary depending on ability of majority to pick up choreography. *All music is age appropriate and goes with our theme. *Choreography learned will be of my own creation. *Great option for those that homeschool looking for arts or P.E. option or looking for extracurricular activity for after school or weekends!
Learning Goals
Your child will learn basic movements of hip hop and movement. This song is upbeat and fun. The goal of this class is to get the student excited about dance, move around and exercise, learn something new and learn a routine by the end of the class!
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Make sure your child is taking class in a safe space in a clear area where they can extend their arms out side to side and front and back. Also, make sure your child has water nearby and wears comfortable clothing. (Dance at your own risk.)

*Bring a piece of paper to create your own character and something to write/color with! *Bring a pokeball or something like it to use in our routine!
