This beginners hip hop dance class will introduce basic movements of dance. We will warm-up, stretch and learn a fun hip hop dance routine! We will celebrate "Earth Day"and we will make a recycled craft at the end of dance class.
Class experience
This class is dedicated to Earth Day! We will first start off with a warm-up and stretch for about 7-10 minutes. We will learn a fun upbeat routine to a song that deals with our Earth! We will also celebrate our Earth by working on a fun Earth Day recycling wreath project at the end of class. Your child will learn basic movements of hip hop and movement. This song is upbeat and fun with a positive message so this class will deal with the world and our "Earth". The goal of this class is to get the student excited about dance, move around and exercise, learn something new and learn a routine by the end of the class while celebrating and appreciating our Earth no matter where we live!
I have been teaching for 19 years in several styles of dance for all ages. I have danced professionally including Walt Disney World, The Orlando Magic (NBA) Dance Team, Carnival Cruise Lins and more. I have directed many dance teams and have judged at competitions and professional dance and cheer team auditions. My passion is to help others be their best! I am passionate, caring and fun and look forward to meeting your child!

2 files available upon enrollmentWe will be doing a fun Earth Day project! We will be making Earth Day Wreaths out of Recycled garbage. You will need: Paper Plate/Cardboard crayons/markers scissors glue/tape ribbon/yarn Clean Garbage that you can glue to your wreath (Bottle Caps, cupcake liners, toilet paper roll, paper, bottle caps etc.) Anything else you'd like to add to your wreath to make it sparkle, pipe cleaners, pom poms, leaves, stickers etc.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Make sure to have enough space to move around in a safe environment, being able to extend your arms all around you. Make sure to have comfortable clothes on and water nearby! (Dance at your own risk.)
