Fourth of July Themed Dance Class - Beginner Hip Hop
This beginners hip hop dance class will introduce basic movements of hip hop. We will warm-up, stretch and will learn a fun, upbeat dance routine. During class we also take a couple breaks and do a craft at the end of class!

During this class we will start off with a warm-up and stretch our bodies. We will also do some cardio and learn some hip-hop moves for about 7 minutes. We will then learn choreography to an upbeat dance routine for approximately 30 minutes. All music is upbeat and fun and age appropriate! During class we will have a couple breaks that include some social time and we will work on a fun craft! Check the supplies list below on what to bring for your craft and don't forget to bring supplies to class. *The duration of the warm-up and choreography time may vary do to student participation. Length of routine may vary depending on ability of majority to pick up choreography. *All music is age appropriate and goes with our theme. *All choreography is my creation. *Great option for those that homeschool looking for arts or P.E. option or looking for extracurricular activity for after school or weekends!
Learning Goals
Your child will learn basic movements of hip hop and movement. This song is upbeat and fun. The goal of this class is to get the student excited about dance, move around and exercise, learn something new and learn a full routine by the end of the class!
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Make sure your child is taking class in a safe space in a clear area where they can extend their arms out side to side and front and back. Also, make sure your child has water nearby and wears comfortable clothing. Scissors will be needed for the craft. (Dance at your own risk.)
Supply List
We will be making a firecracker hat! Items needed: Colored paper, scissors, stickers or any other decorations you want to add to your hat! Stapler or tape to secure your hat! *Or bring coloring sheet and crayons to color! The attachment is with the welcome message or bring your own coloring sheet.
