This one-time beginners hip hop dance class will introduce basic movements of hip hop. We will warm-up, stretch and will learn a fun hip hop dance routine. During class we also take a couple breaks including time to socialize and make a craft!
Class experience
During this class we start off with a warm-up and we will stretch our bodies. We will also do some cardio and learn some hip-hop moves for about 10 minutes. We will then learn choreography to an upbeat dance routine for approximately 30 -35 minutes. All music is upbeat and fun! We will have a fun time dancing and hopping around! Your child will learn basic movements of hip hop and movement. This song is upbeat and fun. The goal of this class is to get the student excited about dance, move around and exercise, learn something new and learn a full routine by the end of the class!
I have been teaching for 20 years in several styles of dance for all ages. I have danced professionally including Walt Disney World, The Orlando Magic (NBA) Dance Team, Carnival Cruise Lines and more. I have directed many dance teams and have judged at competitions and professional dance and cheer team auditions. My passion is to help others be their best! I am passionate, caring and fun and look forward to meeting your child!

1 file available upon enrollmentWe will be making bunnies using paper plates. If you do not have paper plates you can bring paper! You can also bring crayons or any other supplies to decorate your bunny! I have attached a coloring sheet with the welcome message in the classroom if you would rather color!
Make sure your child is taking class in a safe space in a clear area where they can extend their arms out side to side and front and back. Also, make sure your child has water nearby and wears comfortable clothing. (Dance at your own risk.)
