Hip Hop, Bunny Hop Themed Dance Class - Beginner
This one-time beginners hip hop dance class will introduce basic movements of hip hop. We will warm-up, stretch and will learn a fun hip hop dance routine. During class we also take a couple breaks including time to socialize and make a craft!

During this class we start off with a warm-up and we will stretch our bodies. We will also do some cardio and learn some hip-hop moves for about 10 minutes. We will then learn choreography to an upbeat dance routine for approximately 30 -35 minutes. All music is upbeat and fun! We will have a fun time dancing and hopping around! Make sure to check out the supply list for our craft and bring your supplies to class! Get ready for some fun! *Duration of warm-up, choreography, game may vary do to student participation. Length of routine may vary depending on ability of majority to pick up choreography. *All music is age appropriate and go with our theme. *Choreography learned will be of my own creation. *Great option for those that homeschool looking for arts or P.E. option or looking for extracurricular activity for after school or weekends!
Learning Goals
Your child will learn basic movements of hip hop and movement. This song is upbeat and fun. The goal of this class is to get the student excited about dance, move around and exercise, learn something new and learn a full routine by the end of the class!
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Make sure your child is taking class in a safe space in a clear area where they can extend their arms out side to side and front and back. Also, make sure your child has water nearby and wears comfortable clothing. (Dance at your own risk.)
Supply List
We will be making bunnies using paper plates. If you do not have paper plates you can bring paper! You can also bring crayons or any other supplies to decorate your bunny! I have attached a coloring sheet with the welcome message in the classroom if you would rather color!
