Goals: Create a Vision Board!

Vision boards are an enjoyable and engaging project to do! For anyone who learns by doing and creating, vision boards are a perfect project for learning how to articulate your goals and dreams. Vision boards are a visual reminder of what inspires and motivates you and your hopes and dreams.  
     
***Before class, learners will need to cut out pictures, words, or phrases even if they are not 100% sure they want to use them in their collage. It is better to cut out many pictures first and then be selective about what makes the final board. Finally, gather stickers, markers, or Sharpies to write on your vision board.
     
       Do you ever daydream about the future and all the possibilities? Ever wish you could stay focused and make those dreams a reality? Vision boards are a fantastic tool that helps keep you motivated and determined to make your dreams a reality. 
When you forget your "why" and need encouragement to continue working hard, vision boards serve as a reminder and inspiration of your goals and why you are doing what you do daily to achieve your goals. Vision boards display words and images of what you want out of life. Everyone has their idea of what they want their future to look like, and vision boards help you stay on track to make it happen!

      In this class, we will take some time to discuss 1) what inspires us, 2) places we would like to travel to or learn about, and 3) something we would like to learn or achieve.
Learners will first organize and glue their pictures on their boards however they choose. Next, learners will add stickers, write, draw, and make final touches to their vision boards. Finally, learners may share their boards with the group at the end if they like!
