Are you looking for a fun, interactive way to teach your young child the basics of math? Look no further! This class will offer the basics of mathematics in a fun, eye-opening way. I have been tutoring mathematics since 2014. This course will be a 4-class session. Each class, the student will learn new concepts and build upon what they have previously learned. Students will learn the beginning basics of math. They will be able to count to 10, make a number line, begin graphing, and recognize numerals. They will be able to recognize shapes. Students will be able to comfortably add and subtract simple numbers.
I have been a math tutor since 2014. I have a degree in Child Development so I understand how a child thinks and their attention span, especially towards a tougher subject, such as math. I try to make it as fun and educational as I can. I have taught over 1500 online classes on various platforms.
Homework Offered
We will do most of the projects in class. The student will need paper and a pencil, or a whiteboard. I will ask you to print off some items before class starts and cut them out/color them. There will be a few extra math equations I will send home for extra practice.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
The learner will be assessed on the last day of class to ensure understanding and mastery of the concepts.Grades Offered
19 files available upon enrollmentThe student will be asked to print out a few work pages before the start of class. If a printer is not available, you are welcome to draw it by hand. Scissors Crayons Pencil/paper OR whiteboard
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The student may need some help cutting out their items before the start of class if they are not allowed to use scissors on their own.
