US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 1
This class does not meet live. It is a 4 week Flexible Schedule class so students can access the material at convenient times. Weekly content will be posted by Mondays at 8 a.m. EST There will be: 1. A video lesson prepared and presented by the teacher. 2. An interactive Nearpod link with virtual field trips, a slide for children to create a drawing to share, 3D models, fun games, and so much more! 3. Printable Activity Sheets 4. A craft video with step by step instructions led by the teacher 5. A Kahoot Quiz 6. Class Notes that can be printed and kept to remember all that you learned! The class schedule is as follows: Week One: Chicken Students will learn about chickens via video and slideshow presented by the teacher, printable activity sheets, a quiz, and a fun interactive Nearpod lesson. A fine motor skill craft will also be demonstrated by the teacher and children can follow along with the video and pause when needed. Week Two: Cow Students will learn all about cows and how they provide milk for people via video and slideshow presented by the teacher, printable activity sheets, a quiz, and a fun interactive Nearpod lesson . A fine motor skill craft will also be demonstrated by the teacher and children can follow along with the video and pause when needed. Week Three: Sheep Students will learn fun facts about sheep and how they provide wool for people via video and slideshow presented by the teacher, printable activity sheets, a quiz, and a fun interactive Nearpod lesson. A fine motor skill craft will also be demonstrated by the teacher and children can follow along with the video and pause when needed. Week Four: Pig Students will learn all about the pig via video and slideshow presented by the teacher, printable activity sheets, a quiz, and a fun interactive Nearpod lesson. A fine motor skill craft will also be demonstrated by the teacher and children can follow along with the video and pause when needed.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their understanding of farm animals and how they provide for humans in many ways.
They will learn fun facts, interact with other students on Nearpod, share drawings and get creative making their own craft that follows the farm animal theme of each week.

Adult assistance may be needed in various aspects of the weekly crafts.
Supply List
Teacher will supply all links to outside resources. Students will not need a separate account. Students will need these supplies for the weekly craft. Week One: Week One students will need the following craft materials: 1. Printable PDFs from Classroom small handful of 3 different dried beans (legumes) or popcorn different colors are good to have! 2. Glue 3. Paints, markers or crayons Week Two Students will need: 1. Large white paper plate or paper cut into a large circle 2. Black or brown paint 3. Pink Paint 4. Paintbrush 5. Printable from Classroom 6. Glue 7. Scissors Week Three Students will need: 1. Large Paper Plate 2. Many Cotton Balls 3. Glue 4. Printable PDF posted in classroom 5. Black or brown paint Week Four Students will need: 1.
