Class Experience

US Grade 4 - 6
Welcome to your fun math class where we will play Kahoot!
In this ongoing class, students will have different math lessons reviewed in our meetings. This class is for students in 4th-6th grade that want to learn/review math.

*** IF STUDENTS HAVE NEVER PLAYED KAHOOT I WILL SHOW THEM THE PROCESS.***
*** WE JUST NEED EITHER A PHONE/IPAD/COMPUTER/LAPTOP WHERE WE CAN PLAY ELECTRONICALLY.***

Students will take a few notes to get familiarized with the topics being discuss, learners will work on a few problems independently to check for understanding. The last half of class will be fun playing Kahoot to show what we have learned in math.

I am a former Elementary and Middle School teacher with experience in 4th-8th grade math. I use simple language, color coding, and aim to make my class as simple as possible for everyone to enjoy, and have fun while learning.

These are lessons that I have taught both in a public school with a class of 30 students and in private tutoring setting, and I have always been able to identify the misconceptions regarding these lessons. This helps me adjust the lesson to individual needs.
