Class Experience
Please read this description before enrolling. Students will Learn tips and tricks for multiplication facts such as for the 5's, 7’s , 9's, 11's I will show them patterns and puzzles on how to get to the answers for these times tables. I will present one at a time. We will analyze it, copy it down and practice it. Then students will recite the trick performing it on their own notebook. Then we will move on to the next set of multiplication facts. We will repeat this for each of the...
Students will learn fun tips and tricks to learning the multiplication tables.
As a former classroom teacher I know that students learn through repetition. I have seen how amazed students are by these tricks, they often want to practice them to be able to show to others.
Students are encourage to practice the tricks that they are taught and will have notes on.
Students should have a journal and pencil for class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Student will be assessed through questioning throughout the lesson.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
