***If your child is excelling in 5th or 4th grade math and need a bigger challenge, please feel free to enroll them in our class.*** ***From my personal experience I have had 3rd graders take my 7th grade classes that is why I feel that anything is possible.***\ These classes can be taken in any order at all. These classes do not build on knowledge or skills from any of the previous lessons. This class is intended as a review of topics covered in 6th grade math. Please look at the list attached for the topics that will be covered. If your child is in 6th grade and you would like for them to review what they learned before heading to 7th grade math this is a great class for you. Students will cover a different topic each day. We will start class by taking notes on the topic of the day. We will work on guided practice examples and students will be encouraged to participate so that I can check for understanding and comprehension. This will give me an opportunity to clarify any misconceptions. Students will then work on the assignment of the day as independent practice as a guide them towards success.Students will end class with notes to use to review on their own.
