30 Min Semi-Private Math Tutoring

Looking for group tutoring for your children or your child and a friend?  This is a semi-private tutoring class. This class is intended for two or three students, could be any two students that are in the same academic level or need help with the same topic. 

This is the perfect opportunity for your child and a friend to get tutoring done.   Students will have one on one access to a tutor via the online platform. I am a former math teacher with a bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies in Math 4th-8th.  Student may bring homework, classwork or any topic they want to cover to class. Work is not required, material can be provided by teacher if agreed upon before the day of class. Students are encouraged to take notes in order to have something to review on their own. A quiet area is recommended so that students are able to focus. I do also offer private tutoring on a one on one basis, please look in my list of classes if interested in that. 

In this class we will focus on any math topics that the students might need help with. 
Topics can include anything covered in 3rd - 8th grade math, for example:

Learning to multiply or divide using the standard algorithm or models
Geometry concepts like area and perimeter
Operations with fractions or integers
Algebraic representation and solving for variables
Pythagorean theorem 
Slope Intercept Form


Class will be student centered but teacher guided. Students will show comprehension by answering questions which can be verbally or through chat.
