Class Experience

**PLEASE NOTE** This is a FLEX class and is PRE-RECORDED. THIS MEANS STUDENTS WILL WATCH THE PRE-RECORDED VIDEO. There are no live meetings. All interactions between students and the teacher will happen on the class page.
This class will be presented via pre-recorded demonstration drawings. Students will engage in questions, class discussions on the classroom tab, assignments and be part of an artist critique, which will be guided by the instructor.

Students will improve their understanding and skills in the use of one point perspective in their drawing.

I loved learning one point perspective in 7th grade art, and have had great success teaching it to my students in 4th through 7th grades and beyond. Over the years I have developed strategies for making the learning more accessible to younger students.

Drawing paper (80#, or tagboard, or Bristol Board are good options!)
Pencils
Sharpener
Eraser
Ruler
Fine Line and Ultra Fine Line Sharpies
Colored pencils, crayons, or markers (or any combination!)
A handout with vocabulary and simple beginning steps will be provided prior to the first session.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
