This class will introduce your child to using basic shapes to draw and tell a story through pictures. Students should have knowledge of basic shapes and fine motor control to draw them. I'm no artist but I love to teach beginning drawing and writing. Many children need drawing instruction before they are ready to write. I teach children that by using shapes they can learn to draw so many things! In this class we listen to a story and learn how to draw a flower, lion, jellyfish, snail. If time allows we will draw a cat, owl, butterfly and more using shapes. We will verbally tell a story and share the picture we draw.
