This exploring space class is perfect for young learners! In this class, we will be learning about day/night, the sun/moon/stars/, and things we can see in space. At the end of this multi-day course (during Class 6), your little astronaut will create an astronaut craftivity that includes our writing piece from Class 5. -Class 1: Learn what causes day and night -Class 2: Learn some sun/moon facts -Class 3: Learn about the order of the planets -Class 4: Learn about stars and some common constellations in the night sky -Class 5: Write about something you could see in space -Class 6: Create an astronaut craftivity together! Lesson expectations: We will begin with brief introductions before each class. Classes will be interactive and fun! Students will have a chance to ask questions, interact with the teacher, and showcase their astronaut crafitvity at the end of Class 6. Students may continue to work on their projects outside of class if they do not complete them during the class time. No previous experience or knowledge is needed for this course! Please message me with any concerns or special needs.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hey y'all!
I'm a former Kindergarten and First Grade teacher. I taught for 9 years in the public education system and have currently taught online for the past 2 years. I graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington with a Kinesiology degree, and I LOVE all things science.
I teach Science, Math, and Reading classes for young learners. I'm passionate about breaking down complicated topics into bite-sized pieces that are easy to understand. Learning for littles should be fun with lots of hands-on opportunities!
My favorite hobbies are reading, cooking, gardening, and horseback riding. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me. I hope to see you in my classroom soon!
