US Grade 2 - 5
In this class, we cover the foundations of astronomy and space science through very interactive lectures. We use colorful presentations and virtual tours that simulate space exploration to make the lessons enjoyable and informative. One of the highlights of this class is to present learners with the perspective of astronauts. Also through virtual tours, we will visit the inside of a space shuttle and learn the details of space traveling such as sleeping, eating, etc; with all their curiosities and peculiarities. These lessons are very dynamic and learners are encouraged to remain engaged via class discussions and small group activities. In every meeting, we begin with a presentation to introduce the content with a narrative that is both detailed and kids friendly. At the same time, we give students the opportunity to apply the content, reflect about it and exchange ideas with classmates. We welcome learners who wish to join at any point during the program! Our supportive environment ensures a smooth transition, so new learners won’t feel left behind. We provide additional guidance to help them catch up and fully engage with the material. Plus, since the program restarts upon completion, every learner will have the opportunity to experience the full curriculum. All class materials will be provided. We intend with these lessons to build curiosity and motivate learners towards scientific exploration while making the content fun. Come and join us!
